GoodReads Description:

Sixteen-year-old and not-so-openly gay Simon Spier prefers to save his drama for the school musical. But when an email falls into the wrong hands, his secret is at risk of being thrust into the spotlight. Now Simon is actually being blackmailed: if he doesn’t play wingman for class clown Martin, his sexual identity will become everyone’s business. Worse, the privacy of Blue, the pen name of the boy he’s been emailing, will be compromised. With some messy dynamics emerging in his once tight-knit group of friends, and his email correspondence with Blue growing more flirtatious every day, Simon’s junior year has suddenly gotten all kinds of complicated. Now, change-averse Simon has to find a way to step out of his comfort zone before he’s pushed out—without alienating his friends, compromising himself, or fumbling a shot at happiness with the most confusing, adorable guy he’s never met.

My NON Spoiler Review:

Okey, when I started reading this book I really liked it, it was very interesting, but as the story continued it began just to narrate the character's life, which I really did not give a fuck about. It was just about what happened with the character's life and I wanted to know what would happen next with Martin and with the blackmail, and just sneek peeks were given. But I really think that the end of this book is really great and all of the "boring"/"non necessary" stuff is totaly worth it. The writing/lenguage is very easy to read and to understand. If you are just starting reading and you want to read a good book with easy vocabulary I would recommend you read this book. Again, if you like quick books that something is always happening I think this is not the book for you, but if you want to read it still, just go for it, the en is worth it.

My Spoiler Review:

As mentioned in the non spoiler review I think there are plenty of unnecessary information in this book, which made me feel board. But the ending, let's talk about the ending... WTF I really did not exprect Bram to be blue, I really loved how the author made up Bram's name ( BlueGreen118 ) and the reasons for this name too. I'm not going to lie, I totaly thought Martin was Blue, and that he made al this caos to be near Simon, but when I read who he actually was I just was shocked. My mouth was seriously open for five minutes straight. What did you think about this book? Are you planning on reading the next book from this serie? Comment in the comment section if you think like me or no, and we can maybe discuss our opinions.
